Collaborators

As a part of my work with the bee microbiota I have formed several external collaborations which have been extremely fulfilling and fruitful. Below are some of the external collaborators I have had the opportunity to work with.

I have done significant bioinformatics work for Jilian and her students. This work focuses on how evolution and phylogeny may shape microbial communities of pollinating insects and how communities may be influenced by host life stage.

Jilian Li

Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences – Beijing, China

Laura is a bee ecologist and postdoctoral fellow at Emory University. She studies the resiliency of insect host-microbiome interactions. Laura is working with strains from our strain bank to disentangle the effects of the bee gut microbiota on learning and behavior in behavior to antibiotic perturbations.
